Christmas Tree Lighting at Bicentennial Square 2007

Town of Neversink

located on Main Street, Grahamsville, NY

On Saturday mornining, December 1st many volunteers filled Bicentennial Park to decorate twenty-four Christmas trees.  Each tree had its own theme symbolizing the organization or business that it represented.

The chill in the air did not effect the warmth in the hearts of the participants.  By afternoon the job was complete.

Mother nature added her own touch - a blanket of snow.

As the community gathered to share in this tradition, Carols were sung by Tri-Valley students.

A last minute check.

Freinds and neighbors gather by the warmth of the fire while sipping coffee, toasting marshmallows and eating hot dogs.

As it grew darker the moment was nearing.

... as Supervisor Greg Goldstein hit the switch Bicentennial Park became a  Winter Wonderland!

Happy Holidays!
