Heavy rain plays havoc on Claryville.

     These pictures were taken just above the Bachman property on the Neversink River in Claryville.

 

 

 

The picture below shows the rocks and gravel that have been deposited in the river channel so when the river is high the water has washed the river bank away and the river is diverted out into homes and what were once a lawn as shown above

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This was a minor storm but the Neversink River in Claryville is so full of flood debris and the river banks are so eroded that it only takes a minor storm to cause flooding.
